Does Ceramic Coating prevent all scratches and rock chips?
While Ceramic Coating provides a significantly harder surface than your car’s factory clear coat—helping to reduce swirl marks and light wash scratches—it is not bulletproof. For total protection against heavy rock chips and road debris, we recommend combining it with our Paint Protection Film (PPF).
How soon can I drive my car after ceramic coatings?
After about an hour after application, you can drive the vehicle, wait at least 24 to 48 hours to drive under harsh conditions such as highways or during rain.
How do I maintain a ceramic-coated vehicle?
Ceramic coatings are low-maintenance but require periodic washing with a pH-neutral shampoo, avoiding harsh chemicals that can degrade the coatings. You should also periodically apply a booster product to maintain its effectiveness.
Is paint correction required before applying the coating?
To achieve the "mirror finish" Paragon is known for, we highly recommend at least a single-stage paint correction. Ceramic Coating is a transparent layer that locks in the condition of the paint underneath; therefore, removing imperfections first ensures the ultimate depth, clarity, and bonding.
